It’s been a few years that I’m used to being the teachers during my one to one course… it was then even more pleasant to be the student during the workshop of Passionflower Sue & Olga’s Flower Farm!
Olga is a floral farmer based in Italy, Lake Como. She grows many varieties with insane colors. She regularly hosts workshops, and also supplies local and international florists.
Susan is by far the most inspirational florist for me! Her approach both artistic and ‘mathematic’ really speaks to me! I already had the chance to learn from her through her online courses, but when I found out she was coming to Europe for a workshop, especially at Olga’s… I didn’t hesitate one second!
For two days, we studied various thematics : floral jewellery, headpiece, bouquets, arrangements… lots of versatile techniques!
All that with the chance to go pick directly in Olga’s crops and choose all our flowers… kind of a treasure hunt!
Here’s a little overview of my creations, beautifully photographed by Susan.
