What a treat to share this wedding with you!
Sheelan is from Iran, Tudal is from Brittany, they live in Dublin and chose to get married in Vendée in the somptuous Château de la Flocellière.
The idea with the floral selection was to create a bridge between the two cultures : hydrangea fro Brittany, roses Damascena-like & fruits for Iran.
It was the first time I had the chance to decorate a traditional Persian wedding, Sofreh Aghd, with this table set with symbolic elements : mirror, dried fruits, candelabras, incense, holy or poetry book…
Fruits can be found all through the decor, since they’re also used on the main table along with floral arrangements : pomegranates, dates…
Thanks again to this lovely couple for their trust!
